Geon is a tech startup with an experienced team of professionals and a ready product, growing user base and revenue. We developed an app that allows for motivating, gamifying and rewarding people experience in physical locations.
What positive social or environmental do you aim to generate?
Geon is a technology which can allow users to send funds securely and easily to geographic location with conditions for receiving the monetary value. Users are sending funds across the world to different locations supporting local economies.
What has your organisation enabled so far in quantified terms (e.g. 20% efficiency gain, 100 beneficiaries received aid in the past six months) and what are the next steps?
Almost 74k location has been visited by our users since March 2019 moreover our business and users community created more than 8,5 Geons across the world from Hawaii to Japan and from Scandinavia to South Africa.
Why are you specifically using blockchain in your project?
We use blockchain for secure transactions and smart contracts for conditions which creates the Geon in the map.
According to our research since 2013 Blockchain technology is a great tool for creating so called local currencies
